Senninger Irrigation Inc. PRLV Pressure Regulator

Senninger PRLV Pressure Regulators operate a little different than a standard pressure regulator. A Pressure Regulating Limit Valve (PRLV) is designed to control pressure even when there is no flow and can be used when a downstream shut-off valve is needed in your system design. The PRLV has a rubber seal at the seat of the T-stem flow path which closes to regulate downstream pressure to no more than 15 psi higher than the regulating pressure in the system, protecting the components from too high of static (no flow) pressure. We always recommend installing a filter prior to any pressure regulator installation. Not for drinking water, outdoor irrigation use only.Features:Operating Flow Range: 0.5 - 18 GPMMaintains a constant preset outlet pressure at various inlet pressures for optimal applicator operationLow hysteresis and friction lossSeveral regulating options available in either 3/4" or 1" FPT inlet/outlet sizePlease note directional flow arrow on body for proper installation*Please Note: The pressure regulator shall maintain the predetermined operating pressure provided that the inlet pressure is at least 5 psi above the expected outlet pressure, but not exceeding the maximum inlet pressure.

Senninger Irrigation Inc. Low Flow 3/4″ FPT Pressure Regulator

Special note: This pressure regulator is not designed to operate under static (constant) pressure. It must be installed after any valves or timers to operate correctly. Using this item under static pressure will eventually weaken the internal spring and cause the regulator to fail. The low flow PRL pressure regulator is ideal for drip irrigation and solid set application which often have lower flow rates. Also can be used in pivot and mechanical move applications where a PRL is used at each applicator. This pressure regulator is a 3/4" FPT inlet X 3/4" FPT outlet. Please Note: The pressure regulator shall maintain the predetermined operating pressure provided that the inlet pressure is at least 5 PSI above the expected outlet pressure, but not exceeding the maximum inlet pressure.Features:100% pressure tested, to ensure quality and performanceVery low hysteresis and friction lossesCan be installed above or below groundPatented tamper-proof designNo external metal parts for excellent corrosion resistance2 year warranty on materials, workmanship and performance

Drip Depot Economy Pressure Regulator, NPT

Save a bit of money with this economy pressure regulator. The FPT (female pipe thread) inlet/outlet is available in two (2) sizes, 3/4" or 1". Perfect for irrigation systems requiring a little higher flow while maintaining lower PSI for operation of drip and micro irrigation. Recommended installation is after the filter to protect the entire system or can be installed at the sprinkler for uniform flow at each sprinkler head. Features:Maintain optimal system pressure at varying inlet pressuresFixed inductive diaphragm for dependable accuracyLow friction lossConstructed from reinforced plastics with excellent hydraulic and mechanical functionSpecifications:3/4" Inlet/Outlet Pressure RegulatorInlet Pressure Range15 PSI Model: 20 - 80 PSI25 PSI Model: 30 - 100 PSIFlow Range: 0.5 - 6.5 GPM (30 - 390 GPH)1" Inlet/Outlet Pressure RegulatorInlet Pressure Range15 PSI Model: 20 - 120 PSI25 PSI Model: 30 - 120 PSI Flow range: 3 - 9 GPM (180 - 540 GPH)Please Note: As with any system component, specifications may vary slightly because of system design, environmental factors and atmospheric conditions. Maintained pressure may fluctuate +/- a couple PSI.

Should you have any questions while installing your kit please feel free to email our Customer Support team. You may review some of our many resources in our Education Center, found by clicking the "Help" button in the menu bar on our website. Things to Note:Gravity systems are unique in that they use natural water pressure from gravity to operate. Elevation creates water pressure, and adequate pressure is necessary for good uniformity. Changes in elevation affect pressure (psi) in this way: Every 2.31 ft in elevation change equals 1 psi change. So, for every 10 foot of rise you will gain 4.3 psi.In systems with pressure below 4 psi, drip emitters will allow the water through, but they won't be able to regulate the flow properly. Low pressures inherent in gravity feed systems with very little elevation change offer challenges that can only be met with items that are designed specifically for those conditions.Filtration is important even in clean water irrigation systems. We recommend using at least a 150 mesh filter in any system using poly tubing and individual drip emitters. The Drip Depot Gravity Drip Irrigation Kits do not include a backflow prevention device or a pressure regulator. A backflow preventer is normally used to protect a shared potable water source and the low pressures usually associated with gravity systems normally do not require a pressure regulator.Goof Plugs are included "just in case" you need to plug a hole that you punched into the mainline tubing that leaks or is no longer needed. Goof plugs are also used to close the ends of ¼" micro-tubing.Installing your Gravity Feed Drip Irrigation SystemDrip Depot Kits come standard with garden hose thread components for easy connection to your outdoor spigot or garden hose. Hand tighten only, no teflon tape or pipe dope is required with hose threaded connections. The head assembly in the Gravity Feed Kit includes a filter and female hose thread tubing adapter. Attach the Hose Thread Filter to the water source. Ensure this item has the rubber washer seated completely down inside the female threaded connection prior to installation. ; Next, the Female Hose Thread Tubing Adapter is attached to the outflow side of the filter. Again, ensure the rubber washer is seated completely down inside the female threaded connection prior to installation. A helpful tip is to connect your mainline tubing to the tubing adapter prior to connecting to your head assembly components. Most tubing adapters have a female swivel end for ease of installation.; Determine the best location for your ½" mainline to reach from the water source to near the last plant to be watered. The ½" poly is flexible and can be laid out with slight curves or "S" shaped zigzags if necessary.; Lay out the ½" mainline tubing.; Cut off any excess tubing. ; Flush the line. Allow water to run through tubing to remove any debris that may be inside.; Install the Perma-loc Tubing End Cap to close the line.; Install the ¼" micro-tubing and drippers at each plant to be watered. ; Punch a hole into the mainline, near the plant, using the ¼" punch tool included in the kit.; Cut a section of ¼" micro-tubing to reach from mainline to near the base of the plant. ; Attach a ¼" barbed coupler to one end of the micro-tubing, pushing the tubing all the way over the barb. Insert the barbed coupler into the hole you punched in the mainline. You should hear a snap or click once the barbed coupler is fully inserted.; Attach the barbed inlet of a dripper to the other end of the section of micro-tubing.; Snap the dripper end of the micro-tubing into a Stabilizer Stake and push the stake into the soil near the base of the plant.; Continue steps a - e for each plant.; Tips: Larger or water hungry plants may require more than one dripper for adequate coverage.; Laying out your ½" mainline as close as possible to your plants to reduce the length of your ¼" micro-tubing runs will reduce pressure loss in these lines, providing better dripper performance.; The drip irrigation tubing in this kit can be cut with ordinary household scissors, box cutters or tin snips. Making clean straight cuts assures clean leakproof connections.; If you live in an area where the temperatures drop down to below 37 degrees Fahrenheit you must winterize your system. See our Winterizing Instructions for details.; This kit includes everything you need to hook up to any standard outdoor water faucet or garden hose connection. Only hand tightening is required for all of the threaded irrigation parts. Image displayed may not depict the actual items included in this kit.
